Do you have a passion for helping others? Are you a confident communicator with experience of standardised tests? If so, then teaching for Kaplan could be for you.
Kaplan Test Prep is looking for students and graduates from the schools of medicine, dentistry, biomedical sciences and veterinary science who have experience of the:
Undergraduate Medicine and Health Sciences Admissions Test (UMAT),
University Clinical Aptitude Test (UCAT, formerly the UKCAT), or the
BioMedical Admissions Test (BMAT),
and are interested in helping students prepare to sit these tests.
We run UCAT courses across major cities in Australia. Full schedules and locations are available on our website https://www.kaptest.co.uk/anz/ucat/preparation/classroom-course
Qualified candidates will be invited to attend a teacher audition (conducted online) to showcase their communication and presenting skills; if successful, they will be invited to interview. If successful at interview, candidates will then be invited to participate in a fully paid teacher training program.
Candidates would ideally be available to teach on a range of weekends and occasionally during the week from March to July and to begin teacher training in January or February.
Kaplan Test Prep is the leading provider of preparation courses and tutoring for US, UK, and Australian university admissions tests. We are a for-profit education company. See www.kaptest.co.uk and www.kaptestglobal.com for more information.

Experience of either the UMAT, UCAT (formerly the UKCAT), or BMAT, with a 9th decile score on the test in the year in which it was taken.
Good problem-solving and creative-thinking skills.
Friendly and engaging personality.
Ability to maintain regular communication with managers via email, phone, and text.
Good time-management skills.
Some experience of teaching, public speaking or customer service is preferable.
Applicants must be located in course location or have the ability to travel into these locations.
Availability during March to July to teach at least 3 classes.
Availability during January - March to complete 50 - 60 hours of training (multiple training schedules are available to accommodate different needs).
